Product Description:

FrostWire is a community driven project based on source code released by LimeWire LLC to create and maintain a Gnutella client according to the open standards of an international community.

What's new in this version:

Added Smiley support to the Chatroom. Developer note: irc.jar is now part of our build process.
Fixed wording on spanish translation.
Fixed bugs on the media player and playlists on Preview.
Fixed bug on search box auto-focusing while a search was running.
Fixed typo in Polish. Thanks Radek.
Fixed i18n bug, where non english operating system could never keep english as the preferred language, it would always default to the OS language after restarting FW. Thanks to FTA our new dev team member

Java sucks... all the worst behaving apps are always running off Java.
Frostwire does, as well, it seems. And when it crashes, you can't even force Quit. You have to restart (believe me, I've tried everything). It crashes a lot, too.

Finest torrent manipulator available , at this time.
More featured than limewire, and based on the same code.
More functionality than transmission.
this version tracks very well and downloads are fast, only provisio is the availablity of seeders is lower than in transmission, but if found will download and upload at a much greater rate.

Having tried many P2P platforms this rates the best of Genre

Using on Mac OS X 1.5, the CPU is 100% all the time, I did not have such problems with older version of FrostWire when used under Mac OS X 1.4... Really annoying, and making me not able to use this software anymore.
