Product Description:

Crowznest automatically uploads files to remote folders on any device that you may connect to using FTP/SSL/SFTP/WebDav. Simply setup local folders as Hot Folders and link them to one or more remote destinations. CrowzNest will monitor the HotFolder for any files changes including new and edited files. Once CrowzNest detects a file change the file is automatically transferred to the remote folder using Captain FTP as the transfer engine. The CrowzNest icon can be seen in the System Status Bar and runs continuously, monitoring all Hot Folders for activity. Typically CrowzNest can be used to keep websites up to date automatically, to get graphic files to the Print vendor quickly or even to get stories and images to your editor if you are a photographer reporting on an event. Basically anyone who wishes to send files automatically to numerous remote sites can benefit from this cool application.

Although Crowznest looks like a great idea, I need some sort of hot folder setup at the moment, I already have registered a different FTP application. Its a shame that there isn't a standalone application. Time to start investigating applescript perhaps!

Their support team finally got back to me, and have been very helpful ever since. This software is still a little buggy, but it does save time and is a cool idea.

I've contacted their support multiple times and they don't respond. Captain FTP is a good program for OS X but Crowznest is a mystery. No ReadMe file came with it, and when i "launch" it from my apps folder it does nothing. Nothing at all. there's no menu item inside captain ftp 4.4 which says "use crowznest" for this folder or anything like that... i was hoping this would do what it said, and watch folders and automatically ftp them so the server would auto update all the time with the latest files... if anyone has any instructions on how this should work, please post a reply. thanks.
