Now that I know it's no worse than OS X I guess LiquidCD deserves abetter shake in the star area.

Putting LiquidCD's inability to burn that disc into perspective... OS X was also unable to burn it.

LiquidCD ReviewDid NOT wok for me! - Version: 2.02, 11/20/2009 05:33AM PST

I tried to burn a data folder that I'd already successfully burned with both Toast and SimplyBurns and got the following messages:

1. Disc full at 73.0%, 518.8MB

2. There is not enough free space on the disc.

    Extra 163.2 MB are required.

519Mb is too much data for a CD?

LiquidCD Commentarycan't burn dvds for standalone players - Version: 2.0, 6/26/2008 12:09PM PST

sounds promising, but other than burn 1.7 or toast 5.x (!) liquidcd can't burn dvds which play in my standalone dvd-player, no matter which burning mode i use. liquidcd developers actually seem to be aware of this problem, judging from their forum, but a resolution is not in sight. pity.

LiquidCD Troubleshooting Reportneed help.... - Version: 2.0, 2/15/2008 12:00AM PST

Please somebody I need help with my backing-up..

I use mac the ripper to rip dvds and that yields video_ts files that I then burn with liquidCd. I have a mac (obviously) and I am trying to backup DVD's so I can watch them on my dvd player. For some reason when I finish the burn process with LiquidCd I am only able to play the dvd-r on my mac, my dvd players are not able to play the burned dvd. Is it just a problem with my dvd player or am I doing something wrong?

Any suggestions would be absolutely wonderful... Thanks!

Thank you for adding the layer break option as per my email request. This sole feature is worth the donation alone. Nero or Toast won't let you set it manually, so as of this writing, this is the only Mac app that offers this functionality. Splendid work. Time for me to donate gratefully!

LiquidCD Troubleshooting ReportNice, free but unstable. - Version: 1.30, 6/10/2007 09:33AM PST

Very attractive software but ............... it embarrassed me to keep it or not.
The problem consist in the fact that it often crash.
I didn't always know wich file or folder to burn, before it crached (to burn data, songs or DivX).
Then I decided to use Burn and everythings works well.
I have a lot of formats and this software does'n support a lot of them.

Excellent job, thanks a lot specially for being able to implement the Video DVD (udf) burning capability, which a lot of others claim to have, but I only found this app to really produce DVDs my DVD-player would actually playback.
Thanks!
