It does make things a little easier.
Also the 'create encypted image from folder' is very useful, and bizarrely it somehow creates images that are smaller than dropdmg (with dropdmg compression off, which is fine because compression really slows down everything), and you can enter a different password for each file which is not stored in your keychain unlike dropdmg.
Now if it could create an unencrypted image from a folder it would be complete.
