In Terminal or an xterm you can enter
% sudo nvram boot-args = "-v"
If you wish to return to blind booting type:
% sudo nvram -d boot-args.

Verbose CommentaryNot really shareware - it's freeware - Version: 1.0, 11/23/2005 08:42AM PST

I was taken aback by the shareware labeling on this program, but a visit to the authors website reveals that this program is freeware, not shareware. Just a mislabeling at vt.
