Why, oh why did the developer have to port to FUSE? It won't see all the files on my iPod, and folders randomly appear and disappear in the Finder, while I watch. I've even gotten a couple of KPs from using it. (Yes, they went away when I stopped using this plug-in and uninstalled FUSE.)
Please, oh please, post a link to the previous "worked absolutely great" version 1.3! Yeah, it isn't the latest and greatest Cool New Thing, but it was at least stable.

I just installed 2.0b1 on a new machine and the contents keep disappearing after copying 2 or 3 folders. Unmounting and remounting the disk restores everything but this is extremely annoying. The previous version worked beautifully!

I needed to pull some music off of my iPod for a project I was working on and it worked like a charm. Plug in your iPod, open iPod Disk, and BAMM! instant access to all of YOUR stuff. I would highly recommend this to anyone who's had to do a clean install on their machine and had to annihilate all of their iTunes content in the process.
A fantastic piece of code!

It is actually kind of hard to believe how simple and effective this product is. The only problem I had was that it is so transparent and slick in OSX 10.4.8 that it took me a minute to realize that it was working. It simply opens your iPod as if it was a folder, with your music in folders by Albums, Artists, Genres and Playlists. Incredible.
I copied the DMG file to my iPod so I can load it on my notebook and work computers - 1.3 MB, about the same as a short MP3.
If you own an iPod and a Mac, this is an essential addition!

this was so quick and easy to figure out for my 15 year-old child.
our computer had to be reset and all the her iTunes were deleted so this was easy to trasfer all of her iPod songs back to ger computer.
this is the best t use!
