Great Breakout Game

You should strongly consider getting this game. I'm normally pretty stingy when it comes to online games with a price tag. A lot of them don't have that lasting appeal that makes it worth spending 10, 15 or 20 bucks. This one is an exception. It's level design (which adds a new puzzle every level set) is unique, the music is a what you would expect for this price and enhances gameplay. If you don't like the music, you can of course mute it, and play your own thing through iTunes. More importantly this game has no problems with OSX or with Intel Macs, I have been playing for four months total (not all the time) and it hasn't crashed once. A couple of complaints about the game is its lack of control settings. For example, you have to use the mouse, you can't use the arrows or set your own keys on the keyboard. Not that big of a deal in the end, but it would be nice, as I don't like to use the mouse. As far as breakout games go this is a good one, but it lacks downgrades that actually make the game dificult. Overall, if you like breakout games, you should get this.

Beats all the other Breakout-type games. Careful -- can be addictive!
Whichever is correct, this download from VersionTracker is the one to use. Downloads from Reflexive Arcade, Big Fish Games and other places put the game within a 'wrapper' application that puts an annoying window on your screen when starting and quitting. Essentially, you have to launch the game then click a button on the wrapper and later quit the game and then quit the wrapper. Yanking the actual game out of the wrapper-game package does not work.
The game itself is great. I wish the company would port its other games to the Mac.
