rspressIt is nice that you can enter a zip code to bring up a map however once that map is up you better hope it centered where you want it because there is no way to pan the map. There is a unique rotate function which sounds good on paper but watch in amazement as the big map suddenly shrinks down to a smaller size and stays that way once rotated.
I really don't know why the weather information is there. The satellite pictures were taken years ago. do I need to know that it is raining outside to view this map?
Use Apples Weather widget and the Google maps widget for much better maps. If you are looking for more function from a map program check out the program "Terrabrowser" from Chimoosoft. I have writen to the developer and he is great! The program also offers Topo maps that integrate with the current stat picture and also offers urban (better resolution color photos) views that also integrate with the main view. Plus the program acts like a Mac program should and integrates with GPS units. Cool!
Sat image browser needs lots of work and asking for money in is current state in an insult to users.
Have you tried Google maps lately?
