I put the CS plugin in the Plugins folder, and opened the supplied template document. InDesign quits every time without opening the document.

It does everything that I want to do. Quick installation (drop the plugin into InDesign Plugin folder and open up the provided template.
Not much easier than that. (I'm running InDesign CS on an original eMac).
And it's free!
