It is nice to see how this is developing with these almost weekly updates. However, it won't really start being useful for me until it at least gets a fill-in & straight line features. Even better would be importing of images for backgrounds & use of text.

Poster Paint is clearly work in progress, as mentioned by other comments. But the appplication already shows greatness in its clear choice of funktionality. PP is not a schwish army knife, it is not even a general drawing tool, but that is exactly the strength of it. You can use it for siple drawing, and you can save your work in several standard formats.
