AnimAide is a Mac OS X for stop motion animation but it could also be used other traditional animation (e.g. pencil tests). It captures frames from a digital still camera or it may be used in conjunction with other remote capture software. (Preferably with a live feed). This software does not interface with video and is intended for high definition output. It supports JPEG and TIFF images. If you are intent on using video, you could still use AnimAide along with other video capture software as a reference. Just point the project directory to the place where the video image files are being stored on the hard drive.
