Product Description:

GeoParty! is a fun and media rich application for testing your trivia knowledge. Not only can you use pre-built question & answer files, as well as retrieve questions & answers from an online repository, you can also create your own question & answer files to use with family, friends, and students. GeoParty! is a great party game but could also be used by teachers to help motivate students by presenting questions & answers in a fun and exciting format.

What's new in this version:

Added full screen mode (see preferences).
Added user-defined time allotment for players to answer a question (see preferences).
Added option to start game at Round Two.
Increased the size of the Answer buttons.
Added test feature to Game Editor to see how categories, questions, & answers will look in the real game.
Minor improvements to game play & interface enhancements.

Can't get Questions and Answers to load from either source. - Version: 1.0.3, 6/29/2008 12:27PM PST

If I try to load from "File", all the txt files are grayed out. If I try to load from the online file, I get an error message.

I realized I'd version 1.0 sitting on my drive and after the FIRST time pressing the button to give an answer from the side/pop-out drawer ALL subsequent buttons are greyed out and not selectable/untouchable. Downloaded latest... same thing.

Still some problems with this app that make it not worth playing. I just played with the questions downloaded from the online source, and it asked the same question three times in one game (How many countries on the continent of Australia). Just annoying. Also, it works way too slowly on my G4 1.25 GHz 20" iMac running 10.4.8 with 768 MB of RAM.
