iTunesShut CommentaryWorks great ! - Version: 4.9.1, 6/1/2009 01:47AM PST

Works well with Tiger. Now I can listen to my playlists and podcasts and either pause after they finish, or even shutdown my computer if I drift off to sleep.
Well done!

I'm using this application for a long time now- almost every day! The developer is also great- quickly responding and implementing wishes into the application!

Really could not be better- a small, useful application! Thank you!!

iTunesShut ReviewSUCH A GREAT APPLICATION !!! - Version: 4.6, 1/22/2008 12:00AM PST

Works as described. The developer was thinking about making it a widget - please don't wast your time as everyone would use the "Quit automatically" option which doesn't suit a widget. I wish the developer would create a sister application which would be able to quit any application after a certain amount of time. This would be especially useful for quitting VLC and the likes when listening to internet radio that iTunes doesn't support. Many, many thanks.

I requested a feature a while back, it seemed to slip his mind but a quick reminder and the feature was added and ready to go with in a few hours.

The program is also great, its the perfect free-ware alternative to the other programs out there.

I emailed a feature request to this very talented developer and he immediately implemented it into a beta version. The feature allows iTunes to auto cue and auto pause tracks, a must-have feature for professional use by musicians, DJ's and media presenters. First class!

iTunesShut ReviewBuggy - Version: 4.4.3, 2/12/2007 09:15PM PST

I tried 4.4.3 and app "suddenly quits" as soon as iTunes starts. iTunes continues to play. I have no problem with version 4.0 and will continue to use. Seems that every upgrade (4.1 through 4.4) fails to run. I have been using iTunesShut 4.0 for more than a year.

I fall asleep with 4.0 every night.

I've used it once to put my iMac to sleep after iTunes played a playlist and it worked like a charm. It's simple to use and seems to work nicely. Thanks for making it free. =)
