Apple Aperture CommentaryAn Apple oversight - Version: 2.1.3, 4/15/2009 03:07PM PST

After downloading this update, doing a "Get Info" on the Aperture application still returns version 2.1.2 on my machine. But when I open the app, the splash screen shows 2.1.3.

Uncharacteristic oversight by Team Apple.

Oops, on a whim I decided to perform a "Quit Finder" and upon restarting the Finder I see "Get Info" now shows version 2.1.3. So the problem was on my end...late '08 MBP slow to update its database.

I used both aperture and lightroom, IMHO aperture is the most professional and versatile app I ever used.
