Product Description:

Desktop Resetter for OS X is now available!

Ever change the resolution of your monitor, plug in another monitor, or play a computer game? If so, you've been a victim of icon/window rearrangement. This is the dreaded side-effect that causes your neatly placed desktop icons and application windows to pile up in a corner.

Desktilty solves the issue by 'locking' the icon and window positions. Whenever they move, Desktility can automatically put them right back for you, instantly.

Desktility ReviewGreat product, I highly recommend! - Version: 2.2.2, 12/14/2005 03:01PM PST

This is a great utility, especially for people that have a PowerBook and use a larger external display. Back in the late 1990s when the OS 8/9 version of this utility was out (called Desktop Resetter) I found it indispensable for its abilities and the author mentioned to me that he'll be adding even more useful features to Desktility as time goes on.

I suggest supporting the author and buying this product.

I switch back and forth between my PowerBook's built-in screen and a much larger external display. Desktility automatically moves my main applications around for me when I plug in or disconnect the external display -- saves me about 30 seconds each time I swap, which should add years of productivity over my lifetime ;->

The author is also very responsive, and plans to add more useful features in the future.
