Product Description:

Firefight is the expolsive sequel to my Firefly sound reactive screen saver. Firefight is an interactive screen saver that reacts to any sound that your internal microphone can pickup. Even if you do not enable your microphone, Firefight is still enjoyable without any interaction.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed Core Image Acceleration detection since it caused rendering problems on certain computers.

I have my guitar plugged in to the mic port, and it's awesome to watch it react to my playing. Bravo!

This is such a cool idea I'm surprised I haven't seen it before. The screen saver is actually beautiful with or without the sound reaction stuff. Just one suggestion (and I realize this is a 1.0 release, so I'm not surprised this isn't in there yet): give us an option to slow the animation down. The lights are beautiful, but I'd prefer that they weren't so frantic. Great work!
