developer managed to do what the teamspeak crew couldn't, without direct knowledge of the TS protocol, and made it into a great working app.

Este pedazo de software es muy sencillo, pero lo importante es que funicona y cumple lo que promete. Personalmente me conecto a un servidor de team speak 2.0 y como programa cliente TeamSpeex funciona perfecto. Ojo con la configuración de los microfonos, hay que ajustar las preferencias. Ojalá tengamos pronto una versión más robusta.

As a previous poster mentioned, the functionality is very limited. I could connect to a server anonymously, or with my registered account. I could also adjust volume levels. That's about it for setting up the preferences. Once I had it loaded, I had no trouble at all with conversations in TeamSpeak. Very wonderul, I can't wait for the stable version!

My son has been using TeamSpeex with WoW and Tiger (latest version) without problems. As others have mentioned the interface is minimal but effective. There have been some discussion of propriety regarding the author vis-a-vis Teamspeak Communications Systems but apparently things are working out. Here is a link to the issue. Apparently most of the concern is that the TeamSpeak people did not want to be inundated with support requests for a spin-off they didn't create. Sounds reasonable.

I could connect to a German server from the USA but I could not hear my friend nor could he hear me. The server was using the Speex client. I am using a USB Plantronics headset. Everything is configured properly. This software needs more work before being released to the public.
