No Longer works!

Use to work for me, now I get all the errors everyone else is talking about. Asks to create new folders, doesn't do anything, other than crashing frequently. Maybe an issue with Gmail catching onto Gdisk, or with Mac OS. Either way - product pretty well sucks now. Glad I didn't give any money, and I would have, but there's no support, not even documentation. Even some of the "about me" info is no longer good.

Google Appears to Have Changed something - Version: 0.6.1, 9/17/2007 12:10PM PST

It would appear that Google changed something in their code that does not allow gDisk to work any longer... From what I can see on the Dev's site I don't see any work/support being put into updating the product. Would be nice if someone would take over the concept and move it forward. It's a great concept!
Why keeping this on versiontracker? - Version: 0.6.1, 9/11/2007 10:22AM PST

Complete waste of a time.
Does not initialize, create label, or anything else. Do not download this version.

Ditto the comments below:
"No labels found "; moreover, gDisk was unable to make new labels and any attempts to create them caused the application to crash."
"Completely useless at the moment."
Not much more to say, this version simply will not work properly. Seems the developer failed to test it.

Otherwise completely useless at the moment. Is it being developped at all?

Unstable application - Version: 0.6.1, 8/27/2007 01:03AM PST

I fully agree with previous comments. Th application is a nice idea but the development is not serious. I had a first alert last year after three months. I was obliged to reinstall a new version that worked fine until now. After 8 months suddenly i cannot use it any more meeting exactly the same problems described in previous messages.
No Help available, no evolution since almost one year, stupid opening winfow asking contribution for a marriage ( how many marriages?). Don't trust in it.

gDisk fails to work suddenly - Version: 0.6.1, 8/23/2007 07:41PM PST

I used gDisk for at least 3 months on two separate Macs, one running MacOS 10.3.9 and the other 10.4.9 (Intel MAC)
gDisk stopped working for both platforms at the same time with what appeared to be the same error: "No labels found " ; moreover, gDisk was unable to make new labels and any attempts to create them caused the application to crash.
Prior to this failure, I was satisfied with its performance. Maybe this is a trick to get us to fork over $12?

This was my second attempt at using gDisk. After logging in and sequentially dropping 4 files onto the window, the queue froze, and the window would not accept another drop. Clicked the Refresh button in the window and it wrote the list of files. I switched back to Finder to try dropping a file again, and before I could click on the file, gDisk quit.
At my Gmail account, there were files representing the files I had dropped on the window, in the Draft folder, showing paperclips, but no actual enclosure.
Nice idea. Too lame.

I used this before but took a break of several months. The current version is so poorly written that the authors should pay US $12 just to use it. I have experienced all of the problems that the other users reported here. Gdisk crashes repeatedly when attempting to set up gmail labels; it doesn't remember the gmail labels you set up in previous sessions... It just seems to be bad all around! Get your act together, developers--then I'll give you some money.
Love the gDisk

I think gDisk is a great app!! I just use it for file transfer and storage of my images.
However, I'd love for there to be a PC version of gDisk.
Keep up the good work!
