Product Description:

Magic Stones is a game based on Celtic mythology, and is a mix between a role-playing game and a card game. It is situated in the land of Aravorn, where you can find many hidden treasures in the darkest places, where druids are challenged to duel every year, in a fight to the death that will declare the absolute winner. Two playing modes: Gather Artifacts and Challenge Druid.

What's new in this version:

fixed a rare druid creation bug that was causing the game to freeze if you had already lot of druids and many artifacts equipped/destroyed
fixed a rare bug that sometimes prevented spells casting during combat
fixed a minor bug that sometimes was preventing the player from examining the Laguz rune in the character screen
fixed a minor cosmetic bug that allowed the white lines showing the runes experience to go over the rest of the character screen
fixed a minor cosmetic bug that was showing 1 hit point less than the real value in the avatar card on the battlefield

...if you're into these types of games. I think the developer has done a good job with the game and they seem to continually add new free content, which is VERY unusual for a shareware game. Not much of a story, really, but a tactical game involving magical creatures, mostly. Demo will give you a good feel for it pretty quick.

I like this game. The gameplay is pretty simple and entertaining, sound effects are acceptable and sometimes amusing. The graphics are good. It's a combination of Magic and a treasure hunt of sorts, winning battles can net you some items to improve your combat power. Try the demo! (1.1.7 demo crashes on quit for me but that's not a huge deal)
