...why does Trailrunner make multiple attempts to determine my IP address, by attempting to connect to sequentially several IP address lookup sites? Thank goodness for Little Snitch and proxy servers!

On launch, I get a message saying it does not run on this version of OS X. I am on a dual G5 PPC, running 10.4.11. The description shows that it should run.

The last two version (365 & 366) immediately become unresponsive on launch. Consume 98 percent of CPU. Unable to sample using Activity Monitor.

Being new to running I don't have the fancy gizmo's to figure my route mileage. I use to drive the route in my truck to figure it out. Now I can mix my run's up throughout the neighborhood using TrailRunner before I jog and know exactly how many miles I'll be running.
It does take some time and patience to figure it out, but once you've done it a few times it's a piece of cake. It can be a little slow at times, but considering the map detail I would almost expect it to be.

I have been using TrailRunner for a little over a year & have been quite happy w/ it. Unfortunately the author has decided it's already time to drop Tiger support - Versions from 240 onward will not work w/ Tiger.

Couldn't imagina to live without it. I use it every day to track my running sessions and discover new routes in my area. Worked perfect with my iPod and now with my new Garmin ForeRunner 305 GPS on my Mac. Great support as well. Thank you Berbie!

This thing is slower than molasses uphill in the winter time. Takes forever to load the map into the system. It is not intuitive. I'm still trying to figure out how to put together a run route and then have
it export to my ipod. Its already crashed a couple times on me. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong
and from the looks of the interface, I'm probably not going to figure that out anytime soom. Looks very simple and basic but with no help offered on how to make this thing go, its no estarle me gustan.

At the moment (11-03-07) the download link for 1.5v190 is incorrect, and leads to the previous version (1.5v189). The developer's website has the correct link.
