How the hell do you play this game

I find the incredibly poor amount of documentation really off-putting. Otherwise the price is right and it's got a cute 16-bit flavor, but it could really use some ambient sound effects like birds chirping or whatever, because the game is too quiet.
Worst. RPG. Ever.

Look no further if you're a fan of terrible graphics, stagnant gameplay, mind-numbingly slow skill progression, and hostile admins. You'll find all that and more combined here, rolled inside a crappy piece of flash animation!
And if you really love terrible graphics, stagnant gameplay, slow progression, and hostile admins, then I recommend paying the $25 (surprise! Not full featured unless you pay!) to support the developer, who is reportedly a reclusive wannabe failed rockstar, so you may then enjoy such amazing features as the ability to broadcast to other players.
If you run this on a mac, beware because it will push your processor for everything it's got, making it very hot, which is amazing since the gameplay and graphics are worst than most Atari 2600 roms.

I played the first First Star Online and I enjoyed it alot, but Slim has greatly improved everything in this sequel. There are so many things you can do to keep yourself busy, like Fishing, Cooking, Mining, Melting, Blacksmithing, Trap Disarming, Forging, Magery, and Combat skills. This game gives you total freedom and I love that. You can join guilds and meet new people.
Stay away. Far away.

Absolutely *pathetic* customer service. Myself and some friends owned a server, "Lords of the North", which was running pretty well until we found some bugs that we couldn't fix. When we asked the developer to help us, we received no reply in months. Then our access was blindly removed. Finally, after paying hundreds of dollars we asked for a refund. Once again, no reply. When posting a complaint on their forums, we were banned completely.
Refrain from giving this developer your money - you might not ever see it again.

Quite simply, the best RPG for Mac. Lots to do, lots of people to socialize with. Graphics may not be top notch, but it rarely lags.
