Responsive developers, no complaints

A little sparse functionality-wise, but it does exactly what it says on the tin. Very responsive developer and a very reliable, useful app.
It's worth taking it for a spin just to see if it suits your needs better than one of the larger, more complex clipboard managers that may take far more resources in return for functionality you may not need.

I've used CuteClips for I-dunno-how-long (2-3 years). I tried a few other multi-clipboards and CC is best for me. Simple, intuitive interface, regular updates. Especially useful to me is the option of pasting formatted text as plain text. My only nit had been that it was occasionally s-l-o-w to scroll when you brought up the "chooser" interface. Haven't had that problem lately so I assume it's been fixed.
Developer's site... / Trouble opening context menu on items in non-Cocoa applications! - Version: 3.0 beta21, 11/21/2008 01:20PM PST

Hello Karsten,
1. here on VT, clicking on "Developer's site" leads to nowhere, try <http://briksoftware.com/> instead. (Could not send this -- link disabled? Visually challenged?)
2. everytime I try to access the context menu on an item from INSIDE a non-Cocoa App, e.g. AppleWorx, it takes hours and days to react, freezes the machine (almost) and crashes CC3 in the end, giving the opportunity to send stuff to Karsten (He knows what, or should. I forgot. Too much bothering...), which I did.
I don't know why this is so, but if you witch to e.g. Finder (in 10.4 at least) it does not crash, then choose whatever you wanted to choose, and switch back. Inconvenient, bothering, but possible.
Maybe it helps tracking down what happens, maybe it all has to do with Dashboard...? I have no idea.
Ciao, HTH

I bought CuteClips ages ago. Still tried other competitors to be sure I had the best. I do. Brilliant app, especially since there are more clipboards in the classic mode. I am not much interested in the other mode as it is not as aesthetic, but I have had no problems with CuteClips in this mode. Brilliant application. No other is more simple to operate. For people with big screens and big workkloads (like me), 36-48 fields would be exceptional. :)
Thanks Karsten. Really cool.

I have been using cuteclips for many years
I am using OS 10.4.11, and the beta 21 is causing freezes, and irratic operations while using it.
I would skip this version.

I don’t understand why ...

... none of the copy-paste tools has the function "copy back to clipboard". The only one that worked this way was iClip, which seems to have run out of maintenance. Since I run leopard, the Clip containers are broken. Their website has the same error, too, btw.

You can see it, feel it, even smell it – since the all new coded CC3 it is fast as lightning, has a very small footprint (memwise) and does what it is meant to do: paste what I want very quickly.
I can't strike enough how good it feels to actually get quick repsonse from the coder whenever a problem occurs. You go around the block and there is your update already.
Bricksoftware is a company others can learn from! Thumbs up for both CuteClips AND the service!

Consumes copious quantities of memory.

I really like the interface for this pasteboard utility, but....
I just tried this application for a little test. After using this utility for a little while, the memory consumed by it grew *very* large. In the Activity Monitor it reported that cute clips had consumed 648Megs of real memory. This is *huge* for just a clipboard utility....
