This is a wonderful tool to put together a songbook with just the lyrics and the guitar chords. I used to use the CLI chord utility, and it's good to get it through a real GUI. Thanks a lot

This program takes lyrics that have "embedded" chord symbals ala "ProChord" format-- e.g. [C]Ah. Look at all the lonely peo[Em]ple-- and displays them with the chords in the right spot above the lyric. You can send the songs to a printer, a text file, an html file, or the full screen. You can select a foreground and background color. It also displays some prefab guitar chord grids at the bottom to show guitarists how to finger the chords.
The help links to a website with some resources for chordpro, etc.
The program comes with a couple hundred christian hymns as examples. If those lyrics burn your eyes, you can delete the "Songs" folder and get some lyrics and chords for some good old fashioned devil-lovin' death metal.
