ProjectManager CommentarySome friendly suggestions For ProjectsManager - Version: 0.1.1, 9/25/2005 04:00PM PST

-ProjectsManager needs an Application Icon and an icon for its' .pjmg files.

-The Description Field is the most important field to be resizable. Instead of having the project list resizable, have the description field do that and it will be a lot better.

-If you are releasing this under Internal Storms Software, than in the about box say Eternal Storms Software.

-You probably know that the print function does nothing. Might as well remove that and page setup until you're ready to implement it. That goes the same for help.

-If anything else, maybe ProjectManager sounds a little better than ProjectsManager, but naming is always up to the developer. I know how important it is to choose your own names.

ProjectManager CommentaryWow wow wow wow wow... - Version: 0.1.1, 9/24/2005 09:28PM PST

This little starter Xcode project would really be best left to showing off to your (very non-technical) girlfriends, guys. This is NO more efficient than keeping track of your projects in Stickies, except that Stickies will at least let you format your data.

To the Developers: this is a waste of time to the VersionTracker community and everyone who downloads it to give it a whirl. It's not offensive, just simply not useful in any meaningful way. My advice? Wait until you have a product that actually DOES something that people need, and then when that's ready, post it.

To be clear, this is NOT a flame, just a note of encouragement to what seems to be a fledgling company looking for a problem to solve…

Start by solving this one: ProjectsManager is not needed. How you set about fixing that determines whether you ever create a useful product. Good luck.

Pretty weak. I mean, hey, making a list with two date fields and a project name and description is kind of neat, I guess, but it hardly qualifies as a 1.0 software release. Keep trying!
