    VODcaster Troubleshooting ReportUTF-8 characters are not read - Version: 1.1, 2/21/2006 02:36AM PST

    When importing RSS file from disk it doesn't handle UTF-8 characters, instead they are imported as plaintext. Although when typing UTF-8 text it is saved correctly. If you try to import generated file again - you get garbage.

    Hi
    I downloaded VODcaster a few times from this site, then went to the developers site and downloaded it from there.

    On each occasion it refused to launch. I am using a Mac Powerbook G4, OSX10.3.9

    It sounds great and the screen grab looks good.Would like to be able to use a working version of this.

    I sent an email to twocanoes.com but it bouched back with a cannot deliver message.

    I only have one suggestion and that is;

    - Allow the user to point to a media file that is not available locally. For example; users may want to publish a video that is stored on a remote server (like DotMac). The user should have the choice of pointing the xml file at that server too.

    Apart from that, VODcaster is the dog's!
