PodTunesColor ReviewCool idea but needs work... - Version: 0.2, 10/12/2005 06:05AM PST

I really like the idea, but as it is the app is very buggy. I am constantly getting applescript errors, for example when playing songs off a network, accessing the music store, or even when just playing through my playlist. Some possible development ideas: have a rating option at the bottom of the screen, and a volume button somewhere?

PodTunesColor Commentarycute, but impractical start - Version: 0.2, 9/27/2005 12:15PM PST

certainly a cute project, but it still suffers from growing pains. on a high-res monitor, the controller is too small to be legible. long track names run off the display without any scrolling. you have to click twice to be able to drag it (once to bring it to the foreground, second to select it), unlike other apps where you activate the foreground and gain control with the first click.

obviously it's not as practical as a menubar/hotkey controller even if it were perfect, but it's free and has potential for some future fun, with further development.

PodTunesColor Developer NoteThanks for the Feedback - Version: 0.1, 9/18/2005 09:51AM PST

Thanks for the Feedback.

It should be moveable - I can click on any part of it (apart from the buttons) and drag it around the screen - it should work for you. The app has to be activated (the frontmost application) and then just click and drag.

Which other buttons would you want to work?
