I have been holding off upgrading my designers' computers to Adobe Creative Suite 4 due to no FontExplorer update. However, I would happily pay Linotype for an updated version that works in CS4, if only it was available....

I still can't believe that the best professional font management software for the Mac is Freeware... I'm even more impressed to see that Linotype managed to update it in less than 24 hours after the MacOS 10.5.2 update broke it. Thank you guys & girls...!

I agree, the fact that this app is free and has always performed so well is a tribute to it's developers.
For it's bug fix with 10.5.2 to be done and released less then 24 hours after the point update, is remarkable.
Commercial vendors should take note on this extraordinary service.

Funny, but it seems that FAP took 10.5.2 right in stride whereas Explorer's got a few bugs it seems. Must have something to do with paying for good software or something like that?

Well done Linotype. I never realized how much I rely on this app until I had to do without it for 1 day! What a hellish day having to try to get Suitcase to work and not having all the collection details i've built up in F-Explorer. Well done in getting it fixed so quickly, you're the bee's knees ;-)

Free version has poor functionality with 10.6 Snow Leopard. Pro version has been updated to v2.0.3 for 10.6 compatibility.
