Product Description:

iTuneMyWalkman is an open source application that will help you synchronize the contents of iTunes playlists to your mobile phone or other portable device. Features

  • Synchronizes the contents of specific iTunes playlists to your mobile phone.
  • Detects automatically when the device is connected.
  • Creates directory structure according to artists/albums, playlists, or genres.
  • User can define how much space is left on the memory card.
  • Copied files can be re-encoded on the fly to save space.
  • Play counts can be incremented automatically when songs are transferred.
  • Pictures and videos taken with the phone camera can be automatically moved to a user-specified location on your hard disk or imported to iPhoto during synchronization.

What's new in this version:

  • works with Leopard (special thanks to Damien Duportal)

iTuneMyWalkman ReviewStill doesn't work. - Version: 0.941, 11/7/2007 01:03PM PST

ikramerica--2008
Despite updates by the writer, and new versions of both iTunes and Tiger, my Sony K550 still does not sync songs, the main reason to use the software. The iPhoto function works great, but iTunes always copied "0/0" songs, and deletes any songs I had on my phone's memory card.

So I'm still dragging the songs manually in the finder instead. Oh well.

iTuneMyWalkman CommentarySearch by Album/default settings - Version: 0.941, 6/7/2007 12:48AM PST

Would be great if there would be a "back to default setting" button.
I somehow lost the right path to place my music onto my sony ericsson w810i.
-The interprets are mixed up with some ring tone folders.
-Can't search by Albums.
If anyon knows a solution for my problem, I am more than thankfull.

this f**k of a program just deleted all the photos i had on my Nokia N73, about 200 of them!
i dont know how or why, i just pluged my phone in, lauched itunemywalkman then pressed 'syncronize now' and bam, everything gone. not on my computer anywhere or on my phone's SD card.
how shit. i seriously would stay away from this program alltogether or make sure you back everything up first.
anyway, i just got royaly screwed over. not happy....
