Sim Daltonism CommentaryHow accurate is this? - Version: 1.0.1, 10/3/2005 09:30AM PST

I'm colourblind, but I can see the difference as plain as day between the 'control' and the 'effected' windows. How can this truly be an accurate representation as to how a colourblind person sees things? I don't understand it...

I was told I have "color intensity blindness".
How does this work for me?
Not quite sure yet on how to focus in on one particular palette. Confusing.

Sim Daltonism ReviewThanks for that... - Version: 1.0, 9/10/2005 08:23PM PST

I have opften wondered exactly what colour blindness was like, and now I have a much better idea. Quite fascinating.
More to the point, I will take the learning experience encapsulated in this program and attempt to make sure that websites I design work well for colour blind people, as well as the normally sighted.
More power to you!

Sim Daltonism Troubleshooting ReportRed/Green Also filtering yellow - Version: 1.0, 9/10/2005 08:00AM PST

rskaalerud
Pure yellow is also being filtered out on the Protanomaly, Deuteranomaly, Protanopia, and Deuteranopia settings. The filter may be a bit strong on the protanomaly, and deuteranomaly filters. In general viewing it is very close, but I can see differences when used with the color wheel. I wish I could be more specific, but I'm one of those you are attempting to help others understand. I have a moderate to severe case of deuteranomaly.
