The new icon is marginally better and the old one was definitely in need of an upgrade. But what both the old and new Get Lyrical icons illustrate is that software design is often a world away from graphic design. It should be no surprise, though, that writing freeware won't pay for the help of an icon artist.
Awesome Piece of Freeware

Don't reject this awesome piece of freeware just because of the low score currently on VT. It's light weight, has a nice interface, integrates well with iTunes without requiring an installer and gets the job done of automating lyric fetching for most tracks. Great software.
Highly recommended

I downloaded version 3.2.3 and I'm not seeing errors like those mentioned by other reviewers.
It's a nice simple interface, and it ties in with iTunes very well. Select the songs you want to find lyrics for and press the 'Tag Selection' button. After it's done searching, it reports how many songs it successfully 'tagged' and gives you the option of showing the untagged songs. If you do that it generates a playlist in iTunes called 'Lyrics Not Found' and takes you there. From there you can manually search for lyrics on the web, or come back later and try again, or whatever — a much better solution than another app I tried which just generated a message in it's own window of the songs it couldn't find lyrics for.
The only odd thing I discovered was that doing another search straight away on the playlist of unfound songs generated a few hits! I tried it a third time and it found one more. So I'm not sure what's going on there… whether the app is just impatient and times out sometimes when lyrics ARE available, or what… but I recommend running the search a few times on those unfound songs.
I'm using it along with the 'Cover Version' visualizer plug-in to have lyrics display full-screen in iTunes. If you ever wanted to sing along to your songs in iTunes, the combination of these two programs, 'Get Lyrical' and 'Cover Version' is a nice solution.
