As stated in the description, this widget displays the current day's refurbished product discounts from the Apple store at Apple.com. It's simply a convenient way to see what's new there each day.

Not only are they not affiliated with Apple Corp. , They never state wether the products they are discounting are brand new. They do however have the statement: "All Apple Certified Refurbished products are covered by Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty."
Does this mean the products are refurbished ones? Apple has its own web site for selling refurbs at a discount.

Useless version revving? - Version: 1.56, 5/15/2007 08:15AM PST

The rate at which the versions of this widget come out made me suspicious, as well as the facts that I can never see a difference in how the widget operates and the explanations of what changed have always seemed bogus. So the last two revs, I've compared the respective source files between the revs with TextWrangler's compare function. The result? 1.56 is identical to 1.55, which was identical to 1.53. Except for the version number baked in to one of the images, everything else is the same. Maybe they've been updating their server-side code, but still the only reason I can imagine for this version abuse is just to get increased exposure on sites like this. The widget itself is handy, but I really can't stand this apparent deception.
