NotePad ReviewHandy, but where's the website? - Version: 2.1, 1/20/2007 12:27PM PST

I was nearly ready to register (buy), but when I go to the product website, it's down, and has been down for the last couple of weeks that I've been checking. So Dashboard is giving me the message that I need to register, and even that message is weirdly cut off. Too bad, cause the product otherwise does what it's supposed to do.

NotePad ReviewProbably the Best Widget I've Ever Used - Version: 2.1, 10/27/2006 01:24PM PST

If the Apple Stickies widget didn't provide enough quick note-taking functionality for you, I highly recommend trying this widget out. The ability to create multiple, searchable pages is very useful, and something completely unexpected from a widget, seeing as though the majority of them are very simplistic. The only other thing I can think of that would be great would be an undo command for times when I clumsily delete important information. For the price, NotePad does enough though.

With its nice font size and well-positioned buttons, NotePad allows me to cram a ton of information into a tiny space, quickly and easily.

NotePad CommentaryStill not a Universal Binary - Version: 2.1, 6/30/2006 10:54AM PST

NotePad is great and I use it all the time. I would like to see it as a Universal Binary though. Its the only program I run everyday that still shows up as PowerPC on Activity Monitor and it slows down the Dashbard initial load as Rosetta kicks in.
