This application finds the absolute path, name, and parent of a file or folder. There are some functions that you can perform file the file or folder.

Known Issues
  • When a file is moved the application does not automatically update the file's info.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed the "E-Mail Me" button so the email address is correct
  • Added version numbers in Finder's Get Info window

When I need an absolute path I drag the file or folder in question from a Finder window to a Terminal window. No need for additional software.

There's an item called PathSnagger that is a CM plug-in for creating a path statement. It does have some interesting options...

You might want to write a contextural plug-in... Right click on a file / folder and paste the full path to clipboard or something like that...
