Joomla is a big mess and a TON of code and files. Textpattern is clean, has a nice layout, never fails, and it's free also.
Also, with Textpattern you don't need to go through all of the trouble of installing Fink.

According to what I read, keep away from this application. The best one out there is Joomla.

Midgard CMS CommentaryDarwinPorts, Finally! - Version: 1.7.5.1, 4/29/2006 07:39PM PST

I did a recent search in DarwinPorts, and it seems we finally have a sane way to install this. Four packages will pop up if you do a 'port search midgard':

midgard-apache2
midgard-core
midgard-data
midgard-php4

Currently, DP has version 1.7.4, which isn't the absolute latest, but that's OK with me. Anything is better than the insane package installer the developers came up with.
