Product Description:
Blog.Mac is the easiest way to create your own web site and start blogging on your .Mac account. Quickly create your own blog, include pictures from your iPhoto albums, share your favorite iTunes playlist, pick from one of the 19 included templates, and click a button to instantly publish your new blog on the Internet. Show your readers what you are listening to with live updates from iTunes and plug in your iSight camera for live webcam snapshots published right on your blog. Blog pages are automatically converted to RSS feeds for newsreaders. Blog.Mac is easy enough for anyone to start their own web page or blog but is flexible enough for experienced bloggers.

- Added ability to publish to FTP in addition to .Mac web spaces
- Updated Media Browser to fix movie browsing bug
- Added Categories; user now able to publish articles with Categories and Permalinks (permanent links that don't change)
- Fixed .Mac photo album and slideshow search routines; Blog.Mac now searches for all published iPhoto and iWeb photo albums and slide shows
- Sped up launch procedures by streamlining .Mac preparation and photo album search procedures
- Moved publishing notification to a sheet on the blog file, with a field showing the URL, and two buttons allowing author to visit the blog or keep working
- Remembers position of Blog.Mac windows for next launch
- Added LinkShare link maker; if you have a LinkShare account, you can enter your UserID in Blog.Mac preferences and Blog.Mac will attempt to create links to your iTunes
- Now Playing songs that might give you credit for any purchases resulting from click-throughs

This is pretty good.
I have tried "a lot" of blogger software and this is the one I hope to live with for a long time...
I'm no HTML expert but I have managed to customize a buit-in template, create the blog itself and post it on Dot Mac.
Actually it took me 2-3 hours and it was fun! I have installed a visitors' counter and all the Haloscan stuff. Blog.Mac GUI is neat and simple. The help files and instructions are easy to understand and very well written.
This is my blog (you'll notice that it's in French - as in Québec not France - and I myself made all the language adaptations from the original English):

It's a start. I plan to play with this blog a lot in the coming days!

I just registered after I published my new blog using the trial version...so quick. I love the comments feature...as a teacher, students are leaving comments and asking questions. And when I e-mailed support, I actually got a quick response. Definitely a rarety, and 100% worth the cost!
