Thanks for addressing the CPU usage bug! I will keep this version as it only is using .20% of the CPU when in the background!

Hi! Indeed there was a bug in the 1.0 version of Tigergotchi that made it consume CPU cycles just as fast as meat, water and love. This bug seems to be the cause of similar behaviour we have now seen in other widgets as well, and we have reported it to Apple. The good news is that this is fixed in Tigergotchi 1.0.1, and even further improved it in version 1.1. It now uses no more than 0.1% CPU time when Tigergotchi is hidden.... If you downloaded the 1.0 version, be sure to give the new version a try!

I tried this on my iMac G5 1.8 and the fans started to ramp up immediately. I am using 10.4.2 and have a gig of memory. A check of the activity monitor showed Tigergotchi was using 45% of my CPU! Goodbye Tigergotchi!
