Recipe Box ReviewI tried but I can't get it to run - Version: 1.4, 8/23/2009 02:30PM PST

I downloaded and tried to run this program but I just could not get it to work. For me, it's not worth the trouble and my difficulties predict more trouble if I actually buy the program.

Recipe Box ReviewExcellent product - could never go back to index cards again! - Version: 1.4, 7/7/2008 09:07AM PST

While checking Version Tracker to see if there was an update for Recipe Box I noticed the recent post from AuggieBGood. I just couldn't leave the site without responding to his post. I have used Recipe Box since it was released in 2006 and couldn't be happier with the program. The software is solid and has a very good user's guide. Once, when I didn't understand what the program was doing, I contacted Sonora Graphics' tech support and received a response within hours.

It's an excellent program for $24 and it keeps getting better. I have over 250 recipes in my Recipe Box and love being able to print, email or export recipes when people ask me for one.

Recipe Box Developer NoteRe: Buggy and confusing - Version: 1.4, 6/17/2008 10:45PM PST

At Sonora Graphics we pride ourselves on providing first-class customer support, but if we don't know about an issue, we can't solve it. AuggieBGood doesn't understand how the Recipe Box works, but didn't take the time to read the excellent user guide or contact us for assistance.

Recipe book files are just like any other document. After downloading a recipe pack, choosing File -> Import and selecting the pack will merge the recipes it contains into your recipe book file. Opening a recipe pack, or any other recipe book, simply closes the current file and opens the new one.

Auggie's problems with the menu bar are likely due to a bad download or installation. Although such issues are rare, we're happy to assist customers that have trouble with any of our software products--even the free ones!

Sonora Graphics technical support can be reached via our web site <http://sonoragraphics.com/contact.html> or via e-mail at: support(at)sonoragraphics.com.
