I just received my Powerbook a little over a week ago and I never experienced any problems with the graphics. The update took and I still have no problems.

Software update found the update, I installed it and rebooted, and everything seems fine, from Quartz rendering to Battlefield 1942 + Desert Combat. Not quite as much of a 3D machine as a G5, no doubt, but not bad for something portable and Mac (PB 15" 1.67GHZ + 1MB RAM).
The update functioned as it was intended as far as I can tell, and I'm happy to see that Apple doesn't rest after a machine is released.
Misrepresented however as shareware.

I've got a G4/1.67 but the installer claims that I don't have the right hardware to use it and quits; System Profiler begs to differ. I'm using Tiger 10.4.2.

I have a 1.67 15', and from time to time there are some graphical anomolies with windows. I blamed it on Quartz, but I guess thats what this is going to fix.
