As a teacher in a high school in Japan, I am constantly looking for new ways to have my students read the text in their text book. eBook Library is well suited for the needs of my students and adds the necessary variety they cannot get otherwise.
Although there will always be room for improvement, being able to adjust the speed of the passage and the size of the window for the displayed text has made a big difference in my environment.
I trust the author will continue to add new features to the program and I thank him for making it available for others to use.

I have tried to load several different text files into this prog. but it endlessly beachballs every time (it's gone over a million deletions before I'm forced to quit the damn thing). I have removed the before and after stuff fro the files, tried different files, but to no avail. Too bad, it looks like a great idea.

One, when the user hits the space bar standard Mac interfaces usually cause a pause. I would recommend this. Arrows for back, etc.
Also, i would recommend a short menu or screen with copiable or browser call links, with some recommended for library downloads. I quickly found one with Google but more experienced users will have a helpful range of recommendations. Is onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu the best?
