I have a 7820N and would like to upgrade it. clicking on the link here in VT takes me to a Brother page that describes the tiger release but there's no "catch-all" download to be seen. There's an extensive list of Brother devices, most of which hve a 'Download" link to the far right. Clicking on this takes you to a page with older drivers, utilities, etc. I still haven't found this "universal" updater.

Could some kind person paste in the URL for the combo updater? Please?

Seems to work fine with a MFC9880 multifunction laser device. Guess they don't want to acknowledge that their new drivers work with older devices so that people feel they need to buy a new one!

Or else there may be a bug hidden deep in the firmware that they don't want to have to fix and which only manifests itself rarely?
