Female Alert System - 1.5

I'm Willravel, the guy that actually wrote the words used in the Female Alert System. What I was trying to do with my post is bring something to light that is a really big question mark for guys. Why would I do this? It's simple, really. I'd like to help men understand their girlfriends and wives so that they can be supportive. I don't want women to be coddled, mind you, but men should be attentive of their significant others. If I forget my anniversary, I am a jerk. If I remember to be a little more sensitive around that time of the month, aparently I am a raging sexist masoginist.

When I get home from work and my wife is watching Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood and eating mint chocolate chip ice cream, wearing her sweat pants, I can gather that it is possible that she is having cramps and is more proned to a mood swing of some kind. The idea of this information is to understnad why this is happening, and what you should do to make her more comfortable. I think that in understanding this one of many parts of your partner, you're better able to appreciate and love your partner. When I bring home my wifes favorite ice cream on that certian day, she is not hurt because I think she's a mood robot, she is happy because I love her enough to anticipate and help her when she wants help.

If you're wondering about comments like "She's ready to iron and fold", "She's really horney", or "She's a lesbian", it's a matter of writing to your readers. I've been writing for well over 10 years, and that's the way to write if you're trying to convey information. The post was intended for men, and that was stated clearly back on the forum it was posted on. I know that a lot of guys apprecaite humor of this type. If that offended you, then realize that it's meant to appeal to your sense of humor, not your serious emotional side (which men and women both have).

For those who enjoyed it, I'm very glad. I hope you continue to enjoy it. Don't mind the naysayers.

For those of you that didn't enjoy it: so? Don't download it and move on with your lives. I'm not leading a patriarchal revolution or anything, so this app won't hurt your life. Why does everyone online seem to have a big important opinion, anyway? I know I'm not sexist.

Just so you know, a lot of research went into this, too. I read "Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom" by Dr. Christine Northrup and "Romance on the Run-Quality Sex for Busy Couples" by Tara Roth Madden.

I like a good joke as much as the next person, even those that poke fun at stereotypes about men and women, but I don't expect them to end up on VT, where I'm looking for useful applications. VT is not the place for this.

Maybe you could also make a variant that makes jokes about what all us regular guys don't like about black people, or chinese people, or jewish people, or...

Bipolar co-workers alert system, keyed on workload, sleep debt, vacation schedules, etc.

Control freak co-workers alert system, keyed on whenever changes are made independent of their input, and whatever else that sets them off...

This has some possibilities!
