DashSaver CommentaryFor me, its useless - Version: 1.2, 3/20/2007 09:15AM PST

I really like the idea of DashSaver, but I have and I'm surely not alone, a problem with the Notes. I keep personal Notes on the Dashboard, and so I would prefer to create a special Dashboard just for the screensaver, so that I just have maybe my contactlist, a Clock, Mails, the iTunes title and so on as screensafer, and as Dashboard my personal notes...

I would be really happy, if you could add these things to the program...

And... Sorry for my bad English, I'm not a native speaker...

DashSaver ReviewGreat idea, but what about burn-in? - Version: 1.2, 1/19/2007 02:31PM PST

I can't believe Apple haven't come up with this. I find widgets useless for the most part - nothing but eye candy. However this app puts some function back into the design in a way that makes it more valuable. Only question I have is if the screensaver is static, won't this create burn-in on the computer monitor? I mean, the whole idea of a screen saver is to, well, save the screen. Not sure how this program does that if the widgets are stationary.

Does not install properly in Mac Tiger 10.4.6 non-operational. I can't make any recommendations on this one until creator looks to see what the bugs are?
Therefore I suggest we all wait to be fair about it.

DashSaver Troubleshooting ReportProblems using - Version: 1.0, 8/24/2005 07:54AM PST

I must be doing something wrong. I have the upper-right hand corner of my screen set to activate the screensaver. When I move the mouse up there, DashSaver starts, then the screen just goes black. I only see it for a second. What am I doing wrong here? Or am I expecting something it doesn't do? I'm thinking it should continue to display the Dashboard as long as the screensaver is active.
