All the work that's gone into adding features to WidgDock means it's so flexible that it's one widget I really use.

I was previously a user of the nice shareware A-dock. I have longed for a feature to be added to this program: the ability to have more than one A-dock. I have quit it for Widgdock : this amazing widget, makes that possible, and more, and it is free!
I love the high level of personalization of the interface: the glass appearance is so nice. And the dashboard dock style... it’s hard to do a choice!
I have created with 5 copies of widgdok: Two over all windows, 3 on desktop. One of them is the launcher for my others widget. It’s so easy!!
Widgdock should be distributed with every copy of Konfabulator. It's a great enhancement !

I would love this thing if you could navigate through folder's contents in it via the keyboard (a-z, etc.) like you can in Apple's Dock. However, I would love it *and* use it if it used Panther style dock folder navigation. Which is navigating through a folder's contents using the keyboard *and* have a directory open in the finder when you press the return key. Tiger changed it so pressing return just opens the contents of the folder in the menu and not in the finder.
Unless this is already a feature that I somehow managed to not see. Then again, this may not even be possible. Hopefully it is ^^;

Excellent update. Much more responsive than the previous version.
The new hand pointer is a little rebel though (need to hide/show with Cmd-F14 to see it).
Overall a great improvement.

I also noticed certain applications can't be added to WidgDock, for example Flash MX: when trying to add it, a generic folder and a generic document icon appear on the dock instead of the red Flash MX icon.

it is a very useful widget. it still needs work, but it's getting there.
some comments:
• it's rather slow reacting to the mouse over with the magnification option turned on. (Being able to choose the amount of magnification would be nice).
• it would also be nice to be able to choose the font for the pop up menus
• pop up menus are VERY slow. it would help having the option to eliminate the delay completely. they also should respond faster when rolling over them with the mouse.
• it would be useful to have the mouse pointer turn into a "finger pointer" when rolling over the doc icons (at least when magnification is set to "off")

Yahoo sucks, sez it's a third party, don't want anything to do with it.
Developer has no obvious email to inquire.
