Othello, also known as Reversi, is one of the most popular board games, thanks to it's simple rules and great play. Sudden score changes and last minute surprise are all too common, and nothing is as it seems on the Othello board. In Go-Moku, a widespread Asian game, also known as Noughts and Crosses, you must connect five stones in a line to win. In this game thinking ahead is the key to success as you must attack your opponent on two different lines at the same time to ensure your victory. Connect 4 is another twist on the Tic Tac Toe idea. You must connect four pieces to win, but you can only move on the lower side of the board. Qubic is a strange game. It is played on four 4x4 boards, set up one on top of the other, forming a cube. Both players place stones on the boards, and the first one to have a line of four in any direction wins. The trick is you can make lines that extend on all the boards, in a vertical or diagonal direction. You will really have to think out of the box with this one !
