Ok, first: Yes, the shells are beautiful, and the photography is first rate. About what you'd expect from a company that sells sea shells. However, the Conchology widget is disappointing because it does not cycle through shell images, clicking on the image that IS displayed launches a browser window to the company site, and the company will offer to sell you that shell. The one on my screen at the moment costs $125. Apparently, you have to close and reload the widget to get another shell on-screen. Conchology, whose website is located in Belgium, describes themselves as the world's leading seashell company. I have no idea whether they subscribe to PETA's views on live-animal shell harvesting.
