If your iPod has been named with a space in it's title, eg. mine was called "Paul's iPod", then the coding line added to the iPod won't work.

As soon as I renamed my iPod "PauliPod", the update worked fine. I then just renamed my iPod back to what it was.

I have a 3rd Generation 20GB iPod, with dock connector. This program can see my iPod, but won't update it.

Is there a difference between connecting with Firewire (as mine is) or USB?

Also, there's a typo in the Disconnect window. It says "Plase" instead of "Please".

iPodBatteryIndicator ReviewDoesn't seem to work on iPod Photo 60GB - Version: 1.1, 7/31/2005 04:21PM PST

tliszt
Feedback:

Doesn't recognize my iPod, so unable to install (even though iPod is mounted).

Also...typo in the interface window. Next to "iPods found" the message reads:

no iPod connetced (should be connected)

I've tried rescanning, but my iPod is never found. DOES IT WORK with the iPod photo?

Since, this is the second time trying, could you post a list of known iPods that this works on? Apparently the iPod photo has it's own set of "system" stuff...

iPodBatteryIndicator ReviewWorks for me - Version: 1.0, 7/30/2005 07:23AM PST

mr tew
Despite everyone saying it doesn't work I gave it a try and it worked perfectly for me. The second I unplugged my iPod from my computer the numbers appeared where the battery logo used to be. It doesn't say anything about compatibility but I have a 40G 3G iPod, b/w screen of course. I just hope the numbers aren't as wildly innacurate as the battery tabs always were! :-]
