CalTalk ReviewGreat app - Version: 1.1, 8/21/2006 12:29AM PST

It works perfectly. I can't understand why Apple didn't think of something like this. It has helped us greatly by sharing our calendar data over the network. Thank's to Joe the developer who came up with this idea.

Great idea but I couldn't get it to work. Using 2 Macs (1 Tiger & 1 Panther) they just couldn't see each other's calendars.

I set this intriguing bit of software up on 3 Macs, 2 running Panther, 1 running Tiger. I can share each iCal on each Mac but none of them can see each other's shared iCals. Not sure why, Firewalls are all off.

I love the idea of this if only it works. I'm sorry I have to give it alow rating, it just doesnt work.

This is a terrific idea. However I think it needs the option of password-protecting your calendar; you might want to share your calendars with only a subset of the people in a network.

I can see another computer on the network and only 1 of her calendars and when I click on my calendars and check the show my calendars box nothing shows up. I then installed the applicaiton on another machine and the result was the same. Great idea if it works. We are running a mixed Tiger and Panther network (all Mac) with wireless and wired connections.

Installed across my home LAN - very easy to use and no problems so far. Sharing between machines running OS 10.3 (Panther) and OS 10.4 (Tiger)
