It appears to be a version checking routine that is checking to see if it's the latest version of itself... although I didn't follow EVERY LINE of the program.

Sorry, but I can no longer trust this widget. After installing Symphonic 1.1, Little Snitch detected a program named "curl" (as in "See" URL?). That's a curious name for a widget that is suppose to be working in conjuction with iTunes, which is already on my machine, and NOT on my browser. I'm sorry, but that makes me VERY suspicious. Maybe someone with more programming background can tell us what this "curl" application does. Symphonic 1.1 just got removed from my machines.
