Product Description:

SpamSweep is an advanced bayesian spam filter with a simple, easy to understand interface. SpamSweep seamlessly combines many filtering technologies, including domain and relay blacklists, sender whitelisting, and a bayesian filter to automatically delete spam messages before they're downloaded by your email client.

SpamSweep can notify you when you have new good mail by playing a sound, displaying the new messages in a floating window, or launching your email client.

What's new in this version:

This version fixes a bug affecting Entourage users.

A couple shortfalls for my needs - Version: 1.5.3, 9/4/2007 11:51AM PST

- When I choose delete for a message, msg is still on pop server (i.e. still a msg on my server for my email client to download).
- It would be nice if SS would offer email size as a column choice
- Why does Spam Sweep download the entire e-mail, and not just the headers?

The current PPC version causes problems on my Mac Pro. If it is running (which it is all the time), it causes other Rosetta Applications to be unstable and unexpectedly quit. The only solution is to reboot. I have proven this by exhaustive testing and have sent an E-Mail to the author suggesting a UB version soonest. No reply to date. I swapped to Spamsieve a week ago running the 30 day demo and I haven't had one quit since that time. To let you know this is not a spur of the moment assertion - I have spent 10's of hours tracking it down. Hopefully the author will come out with a UB version soon.
