Product Description:

Copy Playlist to Card copies the tracks of the selected playlist in iTunes and an .m3u file for it to a flash memory card or music player that is mounted on the desktop. The script will offer to trim to fit and/or erase the Audio folder if there is not enough room on the card. The script was specifically designed for use with Aeroplayer on PalmOS, but should support any player or memory card that is mountable as a disk on the desktop - note that slight modification of the script may be necessary for use with other players, as outlined in the included read me file. Copy Playlist to Card also numbers the copied tracks to preserve the playlist order alphabetically for players that don't support m3u playlist files, and bumps the played count and date which is useful for smart playlists. Most features are optional - see the read me for info on how to set options

Operating System Requirements:

Copy Playlist to Card Reviewjust what i was looking for. - Version: 1.1.7, 6/18/2007 05:52PM PST

I've been using a Rio Carbon 5GB for about a year now and I've been very pleased with it. one big selling point for me was it's "compatibility" with OS X. supposedly, there is a plug-in for iTunes that allows you to use the Rio like an iPod. this has not worked for me no matter what i try. so my only options were to use the crappy music manager they provide for windows or to drag and drop files from OS X individually and lose the option to make playlists on my Rio. this script is exactly what i need. It works seamlessly with iTunes (7.2) and my Rio. i did not have much faith in it before i tried it, and i was not sure if my Rio supported .m3u playlists, but it does. the simplicity of the installation leaves no room for error and the options within the script are great. thank you so much for such a well made script and installer.

Works great to copy playlists to my Sandisk MP3 player. Just created a folder called "Audio" at the root level on the disk and viola! Works like a charm. Thank you for this script set!

Copy Playlist to Card Troubleshooting Reportscript mod help... - Version: 1.1.7, 5/7/2006 07:43AM PST

I love this script - it works like a charm - though I have a motorola v7 and I'd like to be able to copy the files straight to the "mobile\audio\" folder - now it copies to a folder called Audio a the root level of te phone... ( which I have to create - then manually drag the files to the subfolder... i know its a small thing but does any one out there more savy with script manipulation know what I can change to set the new download directory name to reflect the path? Ive tried it but with no success - apparently it uses dos directory formats and when I change the directory to the new path it gives me a syntax error due to the stupid dos "\" subdir symbol... anyway any help would be appreciated - ( the develop[er
